How to measure your chest

Wear a light shirt, stand naturally and keep your arms relaxed. Wrap a flexible tape around the fullest chest, under your armpits and across your shoulder blades. Keep it level and snug, without pulling tight. Measure your body, not a jacket laid flat.

Choose your waistcoat and trousers separately. A jacket size 38 does not mean you need size 38 trousers. Jacket length and shoulder fit also need checking.
